The thermostat plate is what gives it the color. A matching plate is sent with each baseboard heater purchased, which is separate from the thermostat. If they order a white heater, then a white plate is sent that is made to fit over a TBD Thermostat. If they order an ivory baseboard heater, an ivory plate is sent.
